Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what Quottd collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what's needed to run a quoting and payment tool, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use it

3. Who we share it with

Only the service providers required to run Quottd:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transfer (we'd notify you).

4. Quote recipients

If you received a quote link, the business that sent it entered your name and contact details to prepare your quote. Quottd processes that information on the business's behalf to display the quote and process your payment. Questions about how that business uses your information should go to them; you can also contact us at support@quottd.com.

5. Cookies

Quottd uses only essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete personal data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or payment-compliance reasons (e.g., transaction records held with Stripe). To request deletion or a copy of your data, email support@quottd.com.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, payments are handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1), and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure — if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you promptly.

8. Children

Quottd is a business tool and not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We don't knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We'll update this policy as the product evolves and note the date at the top. For material changes we'll notify account holders by email.
